Top Choons Of 2012

OK, Here we go again with another year of stellar releases. I waded through the all my new music folders from 2012 (12 folders 700+ tracks) and narrowed it down to the 80 or so songs here. There were many tracks that could have been on this list and to be honest I much rather of had a top 150 but who has the time, lol. The Big Winners of the year were Julio Bashmore who had the the top choon 2 years in a row and Disclosure who just dominated this year, make sure to check their EP, also check for Tom Wrecks massive remix of "Tenderly". Other notables were perennial favorites Storm Queen (Morgan Geist), Tensnake, Burial, Todd Terje, Recloose, and ATJAZZ. This years list has Hip Hop! which I pretty much wrote off last year aside from the Kanye/Jay Z tracks. On that note I should mention that Kanye's "Mercy" and Big Sean "Clique" were massive for me last year but were not included on the mix because of time constraints, lol, 6 hours of mixes I probably could've squeezed them in...ok I was just being lazy! Anyways, this list is by no means a reflection of the current state of affairs, its just a mix of shit that I liked and to be honest its a much more selfish list than previous years as it's not influence by the stuff that i played or got crowd reactions, it's just me :) As always big up to the Paul E, Jason Palma, Dave Campbell, Techtwelve, Andrew Allsgood, Tony Lanz as their influence over the years has ultimately shaped the entity that is Tull'ski... haha how dramatic! I gonna change my dj name to The Entity! Happy New Year!
